Handmade Soap Making Class with Seamon Family Farm on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm
Learn to make your own handmade soaps with local artisans, Seamon Farm at Art & Souls Creative Studio. Students will mix, pour, and mold their own soap loaves to enjoy all year round! All materials including soap molds, bowls, oils, gloves, lye, etc. are provided for each student to make their own personal one-year supply of handmade soap* ($50 value). Adults only.
This class includes the use of materials that are suitable for adults only. Class is hands-on, so all students must wear long pants, long sleeves, closed-toed shoes and keep hair out of their face to be ready to make soap. Choose sleeves and clothing that won’t hang down and that will stay in place as you work to mix, pour, and create your individual soap recipe you will love!
Students may provide their own essential oils containing no carrier oils with permission from the instructor during class. Soaps made during class will cure at the farm for 30 days before students can pick up finished soap. Students will make one-year personal supply* of soap. *Annual soap usage assumes one bar per month.
Optional $10 add-on Handmade Bath Bomb Class includes materials to make a bath bomb that may be taken home the day of the class.
